Negotiations are underway between the European Union (EU) and Australia to secure a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) that will support post-pandemic economic recovery by creating new opportunities in these important markets, while simultaneously highlighting and protecting Geographical Indication (GI) products.

European Union Pavilion Activities

Get inspired by the unique integration of European food and drink products with Australian favourites through live cooking shows and information sessions featuring renowned European and Australian chefs, as well as must-see displays and product tastings.

Highlighting quality, safety, authenticity and sustainability, the pavilion will showcase the best of EU food and beverage to Australian business representatives with insights into how best to promote them to customers in Australia.

EU representatives will also be taking to the Talking Shop stage for a special seminar on Europe’s Geographical Indications (GI) system. Join us from 14:00 – 14:45 on Tuesday 6 September 2022 to discover why food origins matter and how your business can benefit.
